Shahrir: Tidak Perlu Subsidi Petrol

Menteri Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna, En. Shahrir Abdul Samad mendedahkan bahawa kerajaan tidak lagi membayar subsidi untuk petrol sejak awal bulan November ini kerana harga minyak mentah dunia jatuh di bawah AS$65 setong.
Beliau merupakan Ahli Parlimen Johor Bahru itu juga lupa bahawa subsidi petrol merupakan pulangan kerajaan Malaysia kepada rakyat keatas keuntungan besar Petronas .

Ahli Parlimen yang mengalami penyakit ketuaan ini lupa bahawa asalnya modal asasnya mengunakan duit rakyat. Dan akta carigali petrolium juga ditetapkan kerana menjaga kepentingan rakyat Malaysia bagi membayar balik jasa rakyat. Oleh yang demikian bukan beliau sahaja perlu dikeluarkan dari Dewan Parlimen. Malah semua daripada BN dan Pasir Mas.

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year oldson waiting for him at the door.
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man..
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the mansaid angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'
The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you canborrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you marchyourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are beingso selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy'squestions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and hereally didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of thelittle boy's room and opened the door.
'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.
'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.
'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man.'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25you asked for.'
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled.Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at hisfather.
'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.
'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.
'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come homeearly tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he beggedfor his forgiveness.
It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We shouldnot let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time withthose who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember toshare that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replaceus in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feelthe loss for the rest of their lives.

Setelah bangga dengan kenaikan harga minyak. Ahli Parlimen Johor Bahru ini membiarkan kenaikkan harga barang. Segala tuduhan dengan beliau bangga menepisnya.
Kini harga minyak dunia telah turun 3 kali ganda. Ahli parlimen yang telah nyanyuk ini menyembunikan dirinya. Harga barang-barang keperluan kekal tinggi. Jika sebelum 2008 beliau begitu lantang 'membedal' semua menteri kabinet.
Hari ini belaiu terus melatah di kaca televisen dan surat khabar, masih mengaku hero. Akibatnya rakyat menderita. Karam Singh Waliya pernah mengatakan " ibarat mengaharapkan pagar, pagar pula jadi perosak.... itulah Ahli Parlimen Johor Bahru

SURUHANJAYA PILIHANRAYA ON BOARD

Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has welcomed the appointment of Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Yusof, the Secretary-General of the Home Ministry, as the new chairman of the Election Commission (EC) replacing Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman.
Anwar commended Abdul Aziz for his professional integrity and competence, saying: “He is quite highly regarded, that I know for certain,.”
However, he held a very cautious view as to Abdul Aziz’s ability to effect change to the public perception of the EC. He noted that the EC has been known to be “badly tainted”, referring no doubt to the increasing allegations against the election body under the helm of Abdul Rashid.

Bahawa peguam terkemuka di Malaysia mendapat RM2 juta setahun amat memberangsangkan . Jelas sekali Perdana Menteri hanya RM240,000 setahun. Ini tentulah kerana tanggungjawab Perdana Menteri tidak seberat peguam, wallahua'lam.
